Full time bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or Production Engineering or Industrial Engineering or Diploma in Fabrication Technology from Sir BPTI Polytechnic, Bhavnagar with at least 3 years experience in a production planning function. The candidate must have proven experience in all aspects of production planning function for shop fabrication of static equipment such as pressure vessels, heat exchangers, columns, reactors, storage tanks, piping etc. 

Must be conversant with plate rolling, edge preparation, fit up, welding (arc, tig, CO2, SAW), NDE, PWHT, hydro test etc. Good drawing reading skills, comprehension, numerical skills, analytical skills and verbal and written communication skills are essential. Must be thorough in Excel.

Candidates from other unrelated backgrounds such as site fabrication or site construction would not qualify for this position. Shop floor experience is a must. This position is not open for general diploma holders. Diploma in Fabrication Technology from Sir BPTI is an exception.
