He is a Member of American Society of Mechanical Engineers and Chair of its Gujarat Chapter. He is also a Corporate Fellow of the Institution of Engineers (India) and served as the Honorary Secretary of its Qatar Chapter during his tenure in Qatar. He has worked in India, Malaysia and Qatar with companies such as Bharat Heavy Electricals Ltd. (BHEL), NKK Corporation, Foster Wheeler and Madina Group. As Contracts Manager, Operations Manager and finally as General Manager, he was instrumental in transforming Madina Group Qatar into a professionally managed corporate organization. He is the Founder Promoter of BEV.

RISHI OBERAI, Director -Technical is 50 years old. He is a 1994 graduate Mechanical Engineer from Mysore University. He is a IRCA Certified ISO 9000 and OHSAS 18001 Lead Auditor, API 510 Certified Pressure Vessel Inspector, CSWIP 3.1 Welding Inspector, AWS Welding Inspector, Grade 2 BGAS Painting Inspector. He also holds ASNT Level III certification in RT, PT and MT and ASNT Level II in UT and VT. He has 29 years experience in manufacturing and construction industries related to oil and gas and petrochemical sector in the fields of quality control, welding engineering, quality assurance systems management etc. He is a Member of AWS, ASNT, ISNT. He supervises Design & Engineering, Project Management and OHS&E functions.

He is adept in Kaizen and Lean Manufacturing. He also has expertise in process mapping and shop floor problem solving.

He is well versed in PED, IBR and PESO. He is responsible for all aspects of Quality i.e., Quality Control, Quality Assurance, Quality Planning and Quality Engineering.
